Job Description

Associate Attorney

  • Full-time Our firm is seeking a talented legal professional with three (3) to five(5) years of experience to join our growing team.
We are an established mid-size Plaintiff's firm, focusing mainly on employment law, employment and consumer class actions and Private Attorney General Act ("PAGA") actions. Our team works collaboratively to ensure the best possible results for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for legal research and writing, advocating for employee's and consumer's rights, and an interest in working with a diverse client base. Responsibilities:
Evaluate and analyze the facts of a case in conjunction with statutory and case law to create effective case strategy and legal argument Draft legal documents including memoranda, briefs, pleadings, and motions Draft and respond to written discovery Take and defend depositions Prepare oral arguments for motions Trial preparation Attend and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials Represent the firm in a positive and professional manner through effective communication with members of the firm, clients, and opposing counsel Utilize time management and prioritization skills to independently and efficiently manage a caseload with the support and supervision of a senior attorney
