This position provides an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney to develop practical legal skills, gain substantial courtroom and U.S. government agency experience, interact directly with clients, and receive hands-on mentorship from an experienced senior attorney. Position Overview The Junior Associate will primarily focus on Immigration Law , with potential exposure to International Corporate Law . Key Responsibilities Represent clients in Immigration Court and during USCIS interviews Draft motions, legal briefs, memoranda of law, responses to government motions, applications for relief, and other legal filings Conduct thorough legal research and develop case strategies Conduct client consultations and strategic preparation sessions Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and interviews Manage an active caseload while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality Work closely with paralegals and support staff to provide exceptional client service Collaborate with supervising attorneys and contribute to case strategy and development Maintain accurate case files, documentation, and deadlines Qualifications 0-3 years of legal experience Bilingual in English and Spanish Admission to the Texas Bar or another U.S. state bar Strong legal research and analytical skills Ability to prepare clear and concise legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and correspondence Excellent drafting, editing, and communication skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with standard office software and legal research tools Familiarity with legal case-management systems is a plus Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Willingness to take direction and learn from experienced attorneys Strong commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and continued professional development Why Consider This Opportunity?
