Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Associate — Business Development to join our growing team! In this role, you will play a vital part in expanding our business footprint by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. Your energetic approach and proactive mindset will help drive our sales efforts and foster long-term partnerships. This paid position offers an exciting chance to develop your skills in sales, marketing, and project management within a collaborative environment dedicated to innovation and success.

Assist in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through market research and outreach efforts. Duties Execute 50+ outbound calls and emails per day — every day — targeting General Contractors in the construction vertical. This means ~250 per week, ~1,000 per month. Contacts include those involved in preconstruction, estimating, project management, site operations, and MEP coordination. Research target accounts using Dodge Data, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, GC websites, and project databases to identify active projects and the right decision-makers within each firm. Log all activity, contacts, and interactions accurately in the CRM — maintaining clean, up-to-date pipeline records for every account you touch. Generate Meaningful Sales Interactions (MSIs) — two-way engagements where a prospect is identified, engaged, and ready to be qualified — and hand off promptly to the Senior BD Associate. Follow outreach sequences and playbooks built by the team, and contribute feedback on what messaging is working and what is not. Participate in weekly team pipeline reviews and provide a clear daily activity log to the Senior BD Associate. Stay current on the constr Skills 1-3 years of experience in an outbound sales, SDR, BDR, or business development role — or equivalent demonstrated ability to drive high-volume outbound activity. Comfortable making cold calls and sending cold emails at volume, daily. Experience with a CRM platform (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) for logging activity and managing contacts. Strong written and verbal communication — clear, professional, and to the point. Construction, energy, or equipment rental industry experience is advantageous but not required. Proficient in LinkedIn for prospecting and contact research.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
