Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced dealership team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will help guide clients through their automotive needs, ensuring a smooth and positive service experience. You will coordinate between customers and our skilled technicians, providing accurate estimates, scheduling appointments, and upselling additional services to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership profitability. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs Explain repair and maintenance procedures clearly, providing detailed auto estimates and service recommendations Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Upsell additional services by identifying customer needs while maintaining transparency and integrity Manage cash handling transactions efficiently and accurately while processing payments for services rendered Maintain detailed service writing records and update customer files with progress reports and completed work descriptions Foster strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up on vehicle status, and ensuring overall satisfaction Requirements Proven dealership experience or auto service management background is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing processes Experience in automotive repair specialties such as transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, alignment, suspension systems, tire service, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, or auto body repair is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell services tactfully while maintaining trust Sales experience related to automobile sales or automotive repair services is advantageous Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Mechanical experience or background as a service technician is beneficial for understanding technical aspects of repairs Join our team to be part of a vibrant environment where your automotive expertise makes a real difference! Pay:

$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
