The position offered is a Associate Design Engineer. This is a position within our Design and Engineering department, reporting to the Director of Design Services. The position is primarily responsible for preparation and review of our engineered CAD heating and cooling design calculations for residential construction.

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or actively pursuing a Professional Engineer (PE) license 0-3 years experience in HVAC or hydronic system design Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel required Familiarity with residential HVAC load calculation methods Basic understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and piping system design principles Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative environment Candidates must be already located within driving distance to Scotts Valley.
