Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an Assembly Tech to join their client's dynamic team in California. The Assembler - Soldering Contractor will support manufacturing operations by performing soldering and electronic assembly work under the guidance of full-time assemblers. This role requires hands-on experience using soldering irons, assembling through-hole components, and working with small hand tools in a production environment. The position is a full-time, onsite role in Scotts Valley, CA.

Responsibilities:

Solder wires to connectors, LEDs, and other electronic components. Assemble through-hole parts and small electronic assemblies. Use soldering irons and hand tools safely and effectively. Follow assembly instructions, work orders, and manufacturing procedures. Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met. Support production and assembly teams as needed. Maintain clean and organized workstations. Follow all safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications:

Previous soldering and electronic assembly experience required. Experience with wire-to-connector soldering preferred. Comfortable working with small parts and hand tools. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Manufacturing or electronics assembly background preferred.

Competitive pay rate ranging from $29 to $32 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Additional Details:

Immediate start preferred. 4-month contract assignment. Full-time onsite role in Scotts Valley, CA.
