Hours Weekly Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Associate DON
  • General Pediatrics / PICU / NICU for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and implement programs to improve patient care quality and employee performance Supervise and support nursing staff across General Pediatrics, PICU, and NICU units Collaborate with Nurse Managers to monitor unit operations and clinical performance Assist with corrective action planning and performance improvement initiatives Support staffing coordination and operational workflow management Monitor patient care standards and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures Promote patient safety and continuous quality improvement initiatives Work closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation related to patient care, compliance, and performance initiatives Ensure compliance with NYS nursing regulations and hospital standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required Master's Degree in Nursing preferred Minimum 7 years of nursing experience required Minimum 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience required Active RN License required Primary Source Verification through NYSED required BLS Certification required Prior Pediatric, PICU, or NICU leadership experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and operational management skills required For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
