Providence Medical Technology, Inc. is a privately-held medical device company focused on innovation solutions for cervical spine conditions. The company has pioneered a proprietary approach to posterior cervical fusion and has developed surgical instrumentation and implants that offer unique benefits to the $2 billion worldwide cervical spine market. Our purpose is to improve clinical outcomes for high-risk patients and prevent surgical failures of the cervical spine.
LOCATION
We are currently hiring Territory Managers in Alabama. The Associate Territory Manager (ATM) will work with a Senior Territory Manager (STM) to gain experience in Providence Medical Technology (PMT) product offerings. With the support of their manager, Associates will learn to execute the PMT sales process with the goal of setting meetings with new prospect surgeons, provide training and support, and move them to new users of Corus. This hands-on case coverage and selling development skills training will last approximately 12 - 18 months. From there, the Area Sales Manager (ASM) and Sr TM will discuss territory growth options with the associate. Essential Functions Obtain clinical competency with all PMT products to ensure thorough understanding. Provide stand-alone surgical case coverage (meeting/exceeding this goal within six (6) months. Access surgeon targets and execute prospect sales meetings. Train prospect surgeons on surgical techniques and all aspects of procedures related to PMT products. Manage Salesforce.com and expense management tool. Maintain, track, and ensure efficient inventory management. Maintain expenses within budgeted quarterly allocations. Implement successful surgeon training courses as new technology is introduced. Able to travel > 60% Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree (Science, Communications or Marketing preferred). One (1) + years in SALES, healthcare, or the Medical Device industry. Proven track record of team success. Strong interpersonal skills. High-level problem-solving skills. Proficient and accurate with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)…, charting, flow charting, and graphs. Competency with web-based applications including sales enablement tools, Google apps, and Salesforce. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to set and conduct effective business meetings. High level of timely follow through. Ability to write concise reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to create and deliver effective and engaging presentations to a variety of audiences, both inside and outside the organization; Can manage and shift style if something isn't working; Knows material. Solid math skills with the ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to understand what the goal of the problem is; Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
