Associate Veterinarian

Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnose health issues across various species, including companion animals and equines. Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments while providing clear explanations to pet owners about ongoing care. Assist with laboratory testing, analyze results, and interpret veterinary terminology to inform diagnosis and treatment plans. Support emergency critical care cases by applying veterinary critical care experience with prompt decision-making. Maintain accurate medical records, update patient files, and document all procedures following veterinary best practices. Rescue animal assessment and spay/neuter services are available at this location if you are interested in contributing to 501c3 animal care. Providing surgical services are at the veterinarians discretion. Experience Proven veterinary experience with a focus on animal handling, restraint techniques, and pet care procedures. Prior exposure to veterinary critical care environments is highly desirable. Strong understanding of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and physiology essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
