Job Scope:

Responsible for coordinating the warehouse operations in accordance with the daily operations plan. Serves as the on-site warehouse operations lead, with responsibility for overall resource coordination and execution in accordance with a defined operational plan for shipping, receiving and banding. Warehouse supervision includes but are not limited to; safety management, outbound shipping, inbound receipt and put-away, production banding, warehouse and production system data maintenance, people and resource coordination, project execution as assigned. This position requires an understanding of warehouse operations, logistics and warehouse operations systems maintenance, the ability to drive for results aligned with operations plan.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the work of employees who work in the outbound warehouse(s) covering all activities in shipping and receiving, banding, transport materials, supplies, and finished products.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Trains employee(s) is the warehouse department.
• Coach and mentor team members according to standard operating procedures.
• Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day operations and resource allocation in accordance with the operations plan within the outbound warehouse(s).
• Clearly communicates day-to-day work responsibilities and ensures staff accountability to company policies and standard work execution.
• Manages employment actions, discipline, and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborates cross functionally to execute, and coordinate programs and projects.
• Maintains inventory record keeping utilizing our inventory management system and WMS system.
• Promotes a culture of safety, while maintaining safety compliance standards in accordance with company policy
• Ensures safe operation of equipment used to move and transport materials to and from the storage areas of the facility.
• Organizes and coordinates activities and staff schedules in accordance with daily operations plan, ensuring fulfillment goals are met and that shipments are timely, accurate, and undamaged.
• Performs additional material handling, banding, receiving, and shipping tasks to ensure all job tasks are perform effectively and timely throughout all shifts.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree in Business or related field or comparable experience preferred.
• At least five years of experience in a related area with material handling/warehouse experience, required.
• International logistics experience preferred.
• Forklift and skid steerer experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
