Responsibilities:

• Build trust and rapport with clients through excellent communication and empathy
• Perform thorough physical examinations and recommend appropriate diagnostics
• Confidently diagnose and treat medical, surgical, and dental conditions
• Clearly and compassionately explain treatment plans to clients
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and logs
• Collaborate effectively with managing veterinarian, medical staff, and front office
• Promote education and preventative care with pet owners

Qualifications:

• DVM or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Licensed (or able to become licensed) to practice in Iowa
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for high-quality patient care and client education
