In this role, you will be a vital part of the process that brings valuable items from collection to sale. Your expertise in warehouse operations, heavy equipment handling, and materials management will ensure smooth and efficient auction preparations. Duties Assist with the receipt, inspection, and cataloging of auction items using RF scanners and warehouse management systems Load and unload items safely using heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks Prepare items for auction by organizing storage areas and ensuring proper materials handling procedures are followed Operate heavy machinery including cranes, forklifts, and load & unload equipment in accordance with OSHA safety standards Manage shipping & receiving processes, including order picking and accurate documentation of inventory movements Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating order picking, heavy lifting, and load securing for transport Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment while adhering to safety protocols and mechanical knowledge requirements Qualifications Proven warehouse experience with a focus on materials handling and heavy equipment operation Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners for inventory control Experience operating cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues on warehouse equipment Prior experience in construction or shipping & receiving is a plus Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to excellence in auction operations!
