Job Description

Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract Passionate about supporting student success through expert hearing solutions? Make a difference as an Educational Audiologist working in a dynamic K-12 environment near Isanti, MN. This contract opportunity runs from September 1st through October 14th, offering the chance to collaborate with multiple districts and directly impact the lives of 113 students across 13 sites. Your expertise will help identify, assess, and provide recommendations for students with hearing loss, equipping educators and families with the tools they need to ensure a fully accessible classroom experience.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution Valid and current Minnesota Audiologist license Prior experience in educational or pediatric audiology preferred Strong knowledge of diagnostic audiology, hearing aid evaluation, and FM/DM amplification systems Exceptional organization and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams Confidence in traveling between schools within the assigned districts
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and screenings for students Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and administrators to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs/504s) Fit, program, and troubleshoot assistive listening devices and hearing aids Prepare clear documentation, maintain student records, and provide training to school staff Consult with families and advocate for appropriate classroom accommodations Serve as a resource for hearing health, accessibility strategies, and best practices in inclusive education Enjoy the variety and impact of working across diverse settings, while knowing your specialized skills are essential for creating inclusive learning environments. This contract offers 40 hours per week and flexibility to start making a difference right away.
