Job Description

Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Educational Audiologist providing essential services across multiple districts near Cambridge, MN. You'll play a key role from September 1st to October 14th, serving a diverse student population and making a lasting impact in the field of school-based audiology. This position allows you to work full-time at 40 hours per week, supporting 113 students across 13 different districts—an engaging experience for professionals eager to expand their expertise and work with a broad range of learners.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program Valid Minnesota Audiologist license or eligibility for immediate licensure Experience providing audiological services in a school setting preferred Strong skills in assessment, diagnostic, and reporting of hearing issues Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Flexibility to travel among multiple district sites Comfortable developing and implementing individualized plans for students
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and assessments Develop, monitor, and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with hearing impairments Provide consultative services and recommendations to teachers and staff Maintain detailed records and complete documentation in accordance with state and district requirements Deliver in-services and training to school staff on auditory equipment and hearing loss awareness Facilitate communication between students, families, and school personnel This contract position is ideal for dynamic audiologists interested in experiencing a variety of school settings while shaping positive outcomes for students.
