Job Description
Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on students' lives by providing vital audiology services in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the chance to work collaboratively within a supportive school community near Elgin, SC, serving as a crucial resource for children with hearing and auditory needs during the academic year.
Desired Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited graduate program in Audiology (AuD or Master's required) Valid state license to practice as an Audiologist; CCC-A certification preferred Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within a school or educational environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and educational staff Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage varying caseloads and responsibilities Collaborative attitude with a commitment to promoting accessible educational experiences for all studentsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough hearing evaluations and screenings for students as required Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and assistive strategies Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to address hearing-related barriers to learning Ensure legal compliance and accuracy with necessary documentation, IEP processes, and progress reports Provide guidance on hearing equipment and auditory support technology Act as an expert resource for staff training and consultation within the schoolOffered Benefits:
