Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students' well-being as a School Psychologist in the Elgin, SC area. This full-time contract opportunity starts August 6, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week on a traditional school-site schedule. As an onsite role, you'll be an integral member of a collaborative educational team, providing valuable psychological services and guidance for the duration of the academic year.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid state certification and credentials as a School Psychologist Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred Strong skills in evaluation, consultation, and providing direct services Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environmentsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and prepare comprehensive reports Collaborate with educators, families, and service providers to develop student support strategies Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, offering expert insight and recommendations Deliver counseling and intervention services to support student success Monitor progress, document services, and adjust interventions as needed Promote positive behavioral and emotional development within the school communityBenefits & Perks:
