Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced individual to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of auditing practices, including risk management and governmental accounting. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with GAAS standards and providing insightful financial analysis to enhance our operational efficiency. Duties Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through execution and reporting. Assess risk management processes and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Review and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and GAAS. Utilize financial software and accounting software to streamline audit processes. Collaborate with clients in the financial services sector to identify areas for improvement. Conduct thorough evaluations of internal controls based on the COSO framework. Provide guidance on tax implications related to audit findings. Mentor junior staff members, fostering their professional development within the auditing field. Prepare detailed reports summarizing audit findings, recommendations, and action plans. Experience A minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing or related fields, with a focus on financial analysis. Proficiency in risk management practices and governmental accounting standards. Strong knowledge of financial software applications relevant to auditing processes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA or equivalent certification is required. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
