Structural Engineer

Develops structural engineering design packages for multi-discipline industrial and offshore projects, including calculations, drawings, and analysis with limited oversight. Job Requirements BS degree in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis from an ABET-accredited university 5-15+ years of experience in industrial, oil and gas, offshore, or marine structural engineering Industrial and offshore design experience Knowledge of U.S. codes and standards Ability to produce complete design packages with minimal oversight Experience developing detailed plans and drawings to project specifications Experience creating calculations, checking, and related design tasks Proficiency with computer-aided design Experience with structural analysis software Proficiency with MS Office and Teams Preferred Skills MS degree Professional Engineer license Engineer in Training certification Field experience Experience with RISA Experience with SACS Experience managing and directing junior engineers and designers Job Responsibilities Support multi-discipline projects as a Structural Engineer Develop complete structural design packages with minimal oversight Develop detailed plans and drawings in accordance with project specifications Perform structural calculations, design checks, and related engineering tasks Use computer-aided design tools to support project deliverables Apply U.S. codes and standards to structural designs Support industrial and offshore structural design work Manage and direct junior engineers and designers as needed
