Opportunity - They are seeking an Audit Manager to join a well-established team in Fremont, NE. This is a high-impact role with leadership responsibilities, client interaction, and the opportunity to help drive firm growth.

Work Arrangement:

Primarily onsite with some hybrid flexibility

Travel:

20-30% (mostly local, occasional out-of-state annually)

Busy Season:

Based on audit/tax deadlines

Off Season:

~40 hours/week Key Responsibilities Lead and manage audit engagements across: Government entities Nonprofits Schools and telephone audits Provide tax support during busy season (generalist returns) Supervise and mentor 2-3 direct reports Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality service Collaborate with partners on engagement strategy and execution Qualifications 5+ years of audit experience (manager-level preferred) CPA required or actively pursuing Strong technical audit and client-facing experience Experience with tax returns including: 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S, 1065 Multi-industry exposure (government, nonprofit, education) Familiarity with: ProSystems (audit), Lacerte (tax), TaxDome or similar client portals

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:

$100K - $145

K Bonus:

5-7% performance-based
