Job Description
The role of the Autism Center's RBT involves delivering direct adaptive behavior services to clients of the Autism Center in the client's home and/or in the clinic. The RBT is responsible for running skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and collaborating with the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality behavior analytic treatment.

Completion of 40-hour RBT training You can complete this now: BDS training is $79 and we will reimburse you once you pass the test when purchased within 14 days of your application. If the upfront cost is an issue, APF training is a free option.Preferred:

1 year of experience working with individuals aged 0-21 in a classroom or 1:1 setting; experience implementing and supervising the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to lift and carry clients with adaptive equipment. Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time. Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time. Must be willing and able to utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan in the course of working with children with challenging behavior. Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection. Must be physically present at the assigned job location. Must maintain professionalism as a representative of the standards of quality provided by the Autism Center.Responsibilities:
Provide professionalism and positivity while interacting with clients, families, and staff members. Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior. Deliver ABA services to clients as directed in a manner aligned with the code of conduct outlined by the BACB. Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols. Maintain supervision requirements consistent with BACB standards. Implement feedback given by the BCBA regarding service delivery.Safety & Security Responsibilities:
Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws. Protect the intellectual property of the Autism Center. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with Autism Center staff, Autism Center administration, clients, collaborative professionals, supervisors, teachers, stakeholder clients, and clients. Responsible for completing and maintaining all required certifications and trainings once employed including, but not limited to CPR, Fingerprinting & Background Checks, RBT Certification, and other company trainings as directed by supervisor. Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols and written clinical documents. Essential components of this position are subject to change at the discretion of the Autism Center.
