Job Description

Overview Join Tri Star Chevrolet as an Auto Body Technician, where you'll play a vital role in restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and craftsmanship. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of auto body repairs, from minor dents to major collision restorations. You will utilize your technical skills, mechanical knowledge, and passion for automotive repair to deliver exceptional results that exceed customer expectations. Duties Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration using hand tools and power tools. Conduct auto painting and airless paint spraying to achieve a flawless finish that matches factory standards. Use MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication techniques to repair or replace damaged vehicle parts. Install and replace auto glass, ensuring proper fitment and safety compliance. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, including auto estimating and customer service documentation. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and assembly work. Handle heavy lifting safely while working on vehicle frames or large components, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven dealership experience or background in automotive repair shops is highly preferred. Skilled in MIG welding, welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication with a strong mechanical aptitude. Familiarity with auto body repair techniques including auto painting, auto glass installation, and auto restoration. Knowledge of automotive systems such as vehicle maintenance, auto estimating, and general mechanical repair. Experience using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other shop equipment effectively. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and estimates. Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
