Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Glass Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this role, you will specialize in installing, repairing, and replacing auto glass with precision and care, ensuring safety and quality for every vehicle. Your expertise will help restore vehicles to their optimal condition while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Remove and replace auto glass on a variety of vehicle makes and models using hand tools, power tools, and specialized glass installation equipment Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine the appropriate repair or replacement procedures Utilize automotive repair knowledge to assist with minor vehicle maintenance and auto body repairs as needed Apply advanced techniques such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration to ensure proper sensor alignment after glass replacement Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting or positioning large glass panels or vehicle parts Maintain detailed records of services performed, including auto estimating documentation and work orders Qualifications Proven dealership experience or hands-on work in auto glass installation preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive repair, auto body work, and vehicle maintenance Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment essential for precise installations Knowledge of ADAS systems calibration, auto estimating procedures, and heavy lifting techniques advantageous Ability to perform detailed work with high attention to safety standards and quality control Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a busy service environment Prior experience with window tinting, auto glass repair, or auto body repair is a plus This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their automotive repair skills while contributing to safe, high-quality vehicle restoration.
