Auto Parts Counter Person

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Counter Person to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your responsibilities will include managing transactions, assisting customers with their inquiries, and ensuring a smooth operation at the counter. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs at the counter. Process sales transactions efficiently using POS systems. Handle cash and maintain accurate cash handling practices. Utilize Excel to manage inventory and sales data effectively. Negotiate with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction. Provide information on products, services, and promotions to enhance sales opportunities. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized counter area. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve customer service standards. Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales trends and inventory levels. Support the implementation of marketing strategies to promote products. Experience Previous experience in Auto parts or in a mechanical area is required Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential. Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus. Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base. Strong negotiation skills and experience in sales management will be beneficial.
