We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic with proven experience working on diesel and gas engines, as well as trailer systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of heavy duty trucks and their associated trailers, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel and gas engines on heavy duty trucks. Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system checks. Troubleshoot and repair trailer components such as brakes, electrical systems, suspensions, and hydraulics. Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately. Operate diagnostic equipment and tools safely and efficiently. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of work orders.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a mechanic for heavy duty trucks. Strong knowledge of diesel and gas engine systems. Experience with trailer maintenance and repair. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license required

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment, stand or kneel for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.

Work Environment:

Shop-based with occasional roadside service calls. Safety protocols must be followed at all times.
