Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Automatic Gate & Access Control Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service in the installation, maintenance, and repair of access control systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge security solutions, including automatic gates and gate operators, telephone entry systems, low voltage security systems . As a vital part of our field service team, you will ensure seamless operation of security infrastructure for a diverse range of clients. Your expertise will help safeguard properties while providing outstanding customer support and technical solutions. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair automatic gates, access control systems, CCTV cameras, TEU and related low-voltage security systems . Conduct system design assessments to determine optimal placement of components such as sensors, CCTV cameras, and access points. Perform cabling, wiring, and electrical work using hand tools and power tools while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
Daily work:
Installing, maintaining, and repairing automatic gates, operators, telephone entry and access control equipment, plus troubleshooting mechanical and low-voltage issues in the field. Maintain detailed service records, system logs, and incident reports; communicate clearly with clients regarding system status or required upgrades. Provide
EXCELLENT
customer service Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in security systems, including access control, CCTV surveillance, or low-voltage electrical work. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to troubleshoot hardware components effectively. Welding experience is a plus. Hands-on experience with, wiring diagrams, and construction environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work independently in the field using hand tools, power tools Excellent understanding of ASTM and UL 325 standards related to automatic gates and safety protocols. $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
