job summary: Automation Engineering Manager for a leading manufacturing company in the automotive industry. This role is responsible to lead engineering, automation, and process development efforts to support safe, efficient, and high-quality injection molding operations. This is a direct hire job opportunity. Relocation assistance is available.

location: Chapin, South Carolina job type: Permanent salary: $120,000 - 150,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Drives continuous improvement, new product introduction, automation solutions, and technical excellence across equipment, tooling, and processesLead engineering activities to support injection molding operations, new product development, and process improvementsLead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of automation solutions including robotics, vision systems, conveyors, and auxiliary equipment.

Lead, develop, and mentor engineers and automation specialists.

Manage engineering and automation projects from concept through implementation
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering5+ years of engineering experience within an automated manufacturing environment2+ years in a leadership or management roleKnowledge of automation technologies (robotics, vision, conveyors, PLCs)Proficient in
CAD Preferred:
Knowledge of injection molding processes #LI-DC1 qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 5 years of experience
