Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based setting dedicated to helping students from PreK through 12th grade reach their fullest potential. This contract occupational therapy opportunity offers the chance to make a measurable impact across a diverse student population in an engaging, supportive environment. Your expertise will support a caseload of approximately 45-50 students, where your thoughtful interventions and collaboration will promote student success and independence in both academic and functional skills. You'll work within a well-structured schedule, providing direct therapy services, developing individualized plans, and consulting with educators and families.
Required Credentials & Professional Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and documentation Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and adapt therapy to varying needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience with PreK-12th grade settings Familiarity with OT in home health or general healthcare settings is a plusKey Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop IEP goals for students Deliver direct and consultative OT services within the school setting Document progress and communicate effectively with educators and caregivers Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for students of all abilities Maintain compliance with all school and professional guidelines This assignment spans the academic year (8/4/2026 - 5/28/2027) for 37.5 hours per week, offering a consistent schedule to build meaningful connections and impact student growth.
