Full-Time Position Overview Jeff D'Ambrosio Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, a premier high-volume dealership group, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented AP/AR Clerk to join our centralized accounting office. This role requires an organized professional who can balance the fast-paced demands of both accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring vendor accounts are accurate and dealership cash flow is seamlessly processed. You will work closely with our Office Manager and Controller to maintain the high standards of financial integrity that the D'Ambrosio team is known for. Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable (AP)

Vendor Management:

Review, verify, and reconcile all vendor invoices, statements, and purchase orders.

Payment Processing:

Prepare and process weekly check runs, electronic payments, and manufacturer statements.

Internal Routing:

Direct invoices to appropriate department managers (Sales, Service, Parts) for approval prior to entry. Accounts Receivable (AR)

Billing & Posting:

Post daily cash receipts, credit card payments, and remote bank deposits.

Account Reconciliation:

Monitor outstanding customer and commercial accounts, reconcile aging schedules, and assist in collecting past-due balances.

Warranty & Incentives:

Assist in tracking and posting factory incentives and warranty claims receivables.

Qualifications & Skills Experience:

Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting experience, specifically handling AP and AR duties. Previous automotive dealership office experience is preferred.

Systems Proficiency:

Experience with Tier-1 Dealer Management Systems ( Dealertrack, or Reynolds & Reynolds) and Excel is a major plus.

Precision & Focus:

Excellent mathematical accuracy, high attention to detail, and a knack for catching data entry discrepancies.

Professionalism:

Strong communication skills to interact professionally with vendors, department managers, and retail clients.
