Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance and customer satisfaction to new heights. In this energized role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and enthusiasm. Whether working on complex powertrain systems or performing routine oil changes, your mechanical skills will keep vehicles running smoothly and safely. Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues quickly and accurately. Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering components to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Service vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and tire service to keep vehicles in top condition. Repair and replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components and work with diesel engines when required to support diverse vehicle types. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently during repairs while adhering to safety standards; weld and perform auto body repairs as needed. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and powertrain issues effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards before returning to customers. Maintain detailed repair records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and ensure all work complies with dealership or industry standards. Experience Proven mechanic experience with dealership or independent repair shops is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems is essential for success in this role. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous but not mandatory; familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, suspension work, brake repair, and tire service is highly valued. Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance machinery confidently. Demonstrated mechanical knowledge across vehicle maintenance disciplines including transmissions, powertrain systems, shocks & struts, and auto body repair. Excellent customer service skills combined with auto estimating proficiency ensure a seamless experience for clients seeking reliable automotive care.
