Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this role, you will utilize your mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will help keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems. Execute oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, wheel balancing, and tire rotations to maintain vehicle safety and performance standards. Repair or replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and other specialized automotive systems with precision. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs such as welding, auto body work, and mechanical adjustments. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical failures. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols while managing multiple repair tasks efficiently. Assist in vehicle inspections for dealership or fleet maintenance programs to ensure compliance with safety standards. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across various vehicle types; dealership experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous but not required. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, auto estimating, and auto body repair processes. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics software and electrical systems troubleshooting techniques. Skilled in working with schematics for complex systems such as transmissions, powertrain components, suspension setups, and alignment procedures. Experience with welding techniques and auto body repairs is a plus. Ability to operate maintenance equipment including lifts, diagnostic scanners, torque wrenches, and other specialized tools confidently. $26.78 - $30.00 per hour
