Automotive Mechanic Weiner, AR 72479 $18.00 - $29.23 an hour - Full-time $18.00 - $29.23 an hour - Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional customer service by providing reliable, efficient, and thorough automotive repairs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle systems, including diesel engines, transmissions, suspension, and electrical components, in a fast-paced environment that values technical excellence and teamwork. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to execute repairs with precision and efficiency. Diagnose complex problems related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), diesel engines, and auto electrical systems. Follow manufacturer specifications and repair procedures for GM vehicles and other makes as needed. Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers while providing excellent customer service. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across various systems. Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with manufacturer standards. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics software, schematics, and electrical systems. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating is a plus. Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, powertrain components, alignment techniques, suspension systems, tire service, shocks & struts. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively. Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems including sensors like ADAS and auto electrical troubleshooting skills. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain repairs clearly to clients.
