Automotive Mechanic

Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems. Conduct oil changes, tire services, and suspension adjustments to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely for repairs and component replacements. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to execute precise repairs on GM vehicles or other makes with similar systems. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Skills Proven experience or extensive mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Proficiency in working with schematics, automotive electrical systems, and complex mechanical components. Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire service, suspension work, shocks & struts replacement, brake repair, and transmission servicing. Familiarity with auto electrical troubleshooting. Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Reliable and hardworking with a strong sense of reliability, Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
