Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance and customer satisfaction to new heights! In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your mechanical skills and passion for automotive repair will be vital in delivering top-tier service that keeps our customers confidently on the road. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and powertrain components. Execute oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and wheel balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Repair and replace auto body parts, welding components as needed to restore vehicle integrity. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with dealership or independent repair shop backgrounds preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including diesel engines, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and GM vehicles is highly desirable. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and electrical systems troubleshooting. Experience working with schematics, powertrain components, transmissions, and suspension systems. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software effectively. Knowledge of automotive repair standards including brake repair, wheel alignment, oil change procedures, and auto body repair techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
