Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with enthusiasm and precision. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaves our shop performing at its best, delivering exceptional service and safety to our valued customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems, utilize advanced diagnostic tools, and develop your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, shocks & struts, and powertrain assemblies. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Work on diesel engines and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to enhance vehicle safety features. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs; weld and perform auto body repairs as needed. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical problems. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership or independent shop background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, especially GM vehicles. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Experience with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, welding, and diesel engine repair is highly desirable. Familiarity with automotive estimating software and auto body repair techniques is a plus. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and efficiently. Valid mechanic certification or equivalent technical training; ASE certification is a plus. Pay:
$26.54 - $31.97 per hour
