Automotive Mechanic

Century Construction Texas is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Fleet Automotive Mechanic to maintain and repair our growing company fleet. We are looking for someone who is motivated, knowledgeable, and capable of diagnosing and repairing vehicles and equipment in a fast-paced work environment. This position will be responsible for keeping company trucks, trailers, and equipment operating safely and efficiently to support daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on company fleet vehicles Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brakes, suspension, steering, and engine repairs Inspect and troubleshoot diesel and gas vehicles Maintain service records and repair documentation Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment Identify safety concerns and necessary repairs Assist with emergency repairs as needed Keep shop area clean, organized, and safe Work closely with management to prioritize fleet repairs and maintenance schedules

Qualifications:

Previous automotive or diesel mechanic experience required Experience working on fleet vehicles, trucks, and trailers preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures Ability to work independently and efficiently Must have reliable transportation
