Automotive Mechanic (Mobile or Shop) Full‑Time or Part‑Time

We're looking for a dependable, customer‑focused Mobile Mechanic to join our growing team. In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles directly at our customers' homes or workplaces. Because we operate fully in the field, this position requires strong technical ability, clear communication, and the confidence to work independently while delivering the honest, high‑quality service our customers expect. We are also seeking a skilled Automotive Shop Mechanic to work in our two‑bay shop. Our shop exists to support the mobile operation by handling larger maintenance‑level jobs and providing a controlled environment for repairs that aren't practical in the field. Mobile mechanics are provided with a company vehicle equipped with a toolbox and a tablet to support efficient, on‑site service. Gas card provided. Mechanics must supply their own hand tools and maintain an up‑to‑date personal scan tool, while all specialty tools and safety equipment are provided. We offer a flexible schedule that can be tailored to your needs because we strongly believe in work‑life balance. Paid weekly! Our standard hours run from 9am-5pm, no weekends or holidays! Performance bonuses. Pay will be based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical issues.
• Complete repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
• Provide efficient, on‑site service at customer locations.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines, and estimates.
• Follow all safety regulations and industry standards.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational automotive training preferred.
• ASE certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on automotive repair experience.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and parts.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
