Automotive Sales Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Sales Associate to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will excel in outside sales, possess strong negotiation skills, and have experience in B2B and retail automotive sales. This role involves engaging with customers, managing sales pipelines, and providing exceptional customer service to drive high-end vehicle sales. Multilingual abilities and familiarity with CRM software are highly valued to enhance client interactions and expand our market reach. The Automotive Sales Associate will play a key role in promoting our inventory, upselling features, and supporting dealership growth through effective communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities Engage with prospective customers through outbound calls, cold calling, and public speaking engagements to generate new leads and expand the sales pipeline. Conduct high-end automotive sales by understanding customer needs, presenting vehicle options, and negotiating deals to close sales effectively. Manage inventory control and assist with inventory management tasks to ensure accurate product availability information. Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, follow up on leads, and maintain detailed records of sales activities. Upsell additional vehicle features, accessories, or service packages to maximize dealership revenue. Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating product knowledge, addressing inquiries professionally with proper phone etiquette, and supporting clients throughout the buying process. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for outreach and lead generation. Support sales management efforts by assisting in retail sales activities and maintaining organized sales documentation. Participate in training sessions on dealership policies, inventory management, and effective communication skills to enhance sales techniques. Experience Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales environments is preferred. Demonstrated success in outside sales, B2B sales, or high-end sales roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with CRM software platforms used for managing customer relationships is advantageous. Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—are essential. Experience in inventory management, retail math, and organizational skills will support success in this role. Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are considered a plus for engaging diverse clientele. Previous experience with cold calling, upselling, marketing strategies, and public speaking will contribute to effectiveness in this position.
