Job Description

Burdick Ford now has an opportunity for a top-performing Sales Consultant to join our Sales Team! We are seeking a career-minded, well-organized and friendly individual who possesses a strong desire to build long-term relationships with our customers and organization. The ideal candidate must also be professional in appearance, have effective communication skills and possess a strong desire to succeed.
Essential Functions:
Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction, recognizing its impact on long-term business success Set personal income goals aligned with dealership productivity standards and develop strategies to achieve them Report regularly to the Sales Manager on objectives, activities, and performance Maintain current knowledge of inventory, features, and accessories, and effectively communicate their value to customers Conduct thorough vehicle deliveries, ensuring customers understand vehicle operation, warranty coverage, and all documentation, while building long-term customer loyalty Stay current on automotive terminology and evolving vehicle technologies Understand trade vehicle values, equity, and depreciation, and clearly explain these concepts to customers Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws governing automotive sales Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to support effective sales presentations Utilize dealership sales processes and techniques Generate sales opportunities through prospecting, including dealership records and cold calling Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills in all sales interactions Follow dealership policies throughout the full sales cycle, including prospecting, presentation, demonstration drives, closing, F&I coordination, delivery, and follow-up Adapt to changes in policies and procedures as needed Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent Professional appearance Excellent customer-service skills Attention to detail Valid driver's license Willingness to learn additional responsibilities to assist your team Our sales consultants come from a variety of backgrounds and industries.
