Automotive Sales Manager Troy, AL 36081 Full-time Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic GM Sales Manager to join our high speed and fast paced dealership. This is rare opportunity to join the #1 GM Volume dealership in the in the area. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service within our dealership. You will engage with customers, understand their needs, and guide them through the car buying process. Your goal is to build lasting relationships with clients while achieving sales targets. Responsibilities Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and preferences. Provide detailed information about vehicle features, specifications, and pricing. Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle capabilities to potential buyers. Manage inventory control to ensure the availability of vehicles for sale. Utilize dealership software to track sales activities and customer interactions. Follow up with leads through outbound sales efforts to convert inquiries into sales. Upsell additional products or services that enhance the customer experience. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the dealership's reputation for quality service. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and achieve collective goals. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients. Experience in automotive sales or outside sales is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in inventory control processes to manage stock effectively. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Familiarity with dealership software systems is advantageous for tracking sales data. Proven skills in outbound sales techniques, including lead generation and follow-up strategies. Competence in upselling products or services that meet customer needs.
