Automotive Service Advisor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and advancement. Pay can be enhanced with sales bonus for job performance.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome to our service department
• Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle issues
• Recommend appropriate services and repairs based on customers' needs and vehicle requirements
• Sell quoted work to customers and order parts
• Schedule appointments and manage the service department's daily workflow, including manage small inventory list.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs needed
• Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Service Advisor or in automotive customer service is preferred
• Knowledge of air brake systems, suspension, transmission, tire service, diesel engine repair, oil changes, and other mechanical services is a plus
• Strong sales skills with the ability to effectively upsell products and services
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Proficient in cash handling procedures We offer competitive pay based on experience and performance.
