About us Yorktown Tire Auto Care is a third generation, family-owned auto repair shop in Yorktown Heights, NY. Entrenched in the greater Yorktown community for nearly 60 years, we have an incredibly loyal customer base, seven full-time mechanics and eight bays. Our business is built on integrity and our never-ending dedication to keeping our customers as safe as possible. We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be the ultimate multitasker - with responsibilities that include: Answer phones to take appointments and handle in-bound leads Greet customers upon arrival, act as the liaison between customer and technician Inspect vehicles to verify the accuracy of repairs suggested by each technician Write-up, explain and sell work to customers as necessary Order and return parts, supplies as necessary Maintain accurate records of customer service transactions - build rapport with existing and new customers Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor among customers and technicians This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks. There will be multiple times throughout each day when you have a phone ringing, a technician over one shoulder and a customer in front of you while you try to handle a parts delivery. This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail. Former technicians that moved to the office are encouraged to apply!
