Job Description

Job Overview The Service Advisor is responsible for managing scheduled appointments and walk-in customers, identifying vehicle service needs, and providing accurate estimates for automotive repair and maintenance. This role serves as the primary point of contact between customers and technicians, ensuring clear communication, efficient workflow, and an exceptional customer experience. This role is suitable for entry- to mid-level candidiates who are eager to learn, grow their skills, and develop their careers in a supportive environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintain strong relationships with customers and technicians to accurately assess vehicle concerns, recommend necessary repairs and maintenance, and ensure timely service completion. Greet customers promptly, listen to their concerns, and translate vehicle issues into clear repair orders for technicians. Provide detailed and accurate estimates for mechanical and maintenance services, including parts and labor. Communicate recommended services effectively, obtain customer authorization, and follow through to completion of the job. Keep customers informed throughout the repair process, including updates on vehicle status, timelines and any additional findings. Create and manage repair orders, ensuring all details are documented, approved, and entered into the shop management system. Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle delivery. Perform basic vehicle walkarounds and inspections to identify maintenance and safety concerns. Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Participate in team meetings and contribute to shop productivity and customer satisfaction overall. Complete required training and stay up to date on industry practices and service procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skills Strong customer service and interpersonal skills General understanding of repair procedures and industry best practices Ability to clearly explain technical information in a customer-friendly manner Proficiency and comfort in operating a laptop, and smartphone Excellent communication and listening skills Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience with shop management or estimating software preferred Physical & Mental Demands Combination of sitting, standing, bending, walking, and light lifting Requires manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and basic computer use Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Ability to handle occasional stressful situations with professionalism Join our team where your automotive expertise meets your passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences! Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
