Transitional Kindergarten Teacher

Description St. Catherine Labouré School is seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic, and faith-filled Transitional Kindergarten teacher to join our dedicated school community. The ideal candidate will create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of young learners. We are looking for an educator who values collaboration, strong communication with families, and a love for early childhood education within a Catholic school setting.

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate TK classroom environment Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with California standards and early childhood best practices Foster social-emotional development, independence, and positive classroom behavior Integrate Catholic values and faith formation into daily classroom experiences Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administration Assess student growth and maintain accurate student records Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Liberal Studies, or related field Early childhood and/or TK teaching experience preferred Practicing Catholic Submit resume and cover letter to bagherij@stcat.org Wage Range The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
