Automotive Service Technician

Join the Ginn Team at Ginn Chevy in Covington Ga! Ginn Chevy is Growing and seeking an Certified Automotive Service Technician. Previous mechanical experience preferred. Ginn Chevy is seeking an experienced ASE Certified Auto Technician. We are looking for a motivated technician with high energy, detail oriented to the task, and can work well in a team environment. A proven track record of success is required for this position.

Technician Responsibilities and Essential Job Duties:

Properly complete services and/or repairs according to applicable safety requirements and published procedures/work repair instructions.

Technician Pay Summary:

High flat rate (or hourly) based on experience and certifications Up To $40 per hour + bonuses Weekly pay Paid training Paid holidays and Paid time off Employee discounts for purchasing cars, service, and parts Relocation allowance and signing bonus (if applicable and based on skills)

Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Authorized to work in the US Must have a valid Driver's License Must be at least 18 years old Basic communication and problem solving skills Basic mathematical skills using US units of measure

Physical Requirements:

Constantly position body and move in order to retrieve cars from parking lot Diagnose and repair vehicles Detect and identify vehicle issues and shop safety concerns Exert force to move/manipulate objects (up to 50lbs occasionally, 30lbs frequently, 10lbs constantly) Operate tools and equipment Repetitive body and hand motion Work is conducted inside, outside, and in a shop environment in proximity to moving vehicles, mechanical equipment, with exposure to chemicals, and moderate to loud noise levels Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
