Job Description

Job Overview We are Urgently seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in dealership settings being a significant advantage. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical systems, and more. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to our customers while ensuring their vehicles are safe and reliable. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems, including transmissions, powertrain components, and automotive electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to assist in repairs. Perform routine vehicle maintenance as per manufacturer specifications. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options. Estimate repair costs accurately using auto estimating techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and equipment. Ability to work with most all makes of vehicles is preferred; knowledge of diesel engines is a plus. Proficiency in welding is advantageous but not mandatory. The ability to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle issues. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive service are a plus.
