Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various systems including powertrain, electrical, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs, transmission servicing, diesel engine work, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections. Utilize schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical components. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repairs with precision and safety. Repair or replace vehicle components such as transmissions, powertrain parts, suspension systems, brakes, and welding as needed. Conduct vehicle maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs, estimated timeframes, and vehicle care recommendations while providing excellent customer service. Skills Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a strong understanding of automotive repair procedures. Expertise in automotive diagnostics and electrical systems troubleshooting. Knowledge of ADAS technology integration and calibration procedures. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for complex vehicle systems. Mechanical knowledge of engines, transmissions, diesel engines, powertrain components, and welding techniques. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, automotive service equipment, and auto estimating software. Experience working with automotive electrical systems and performing alignment services. Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Familiarity with maintenance routines for both gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles. $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
