Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other critical vehicle systems with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Service and maintain vehicles by replacing parts, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Ensure all repairs meet quality standards by conducting thorough inspections before returning vehicles to customers. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and offering recommendations for ongoing vehicle maintenance. Experience Proven dealership or service center experience as an automotive technician or mechanic. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Hands-on experience with vehicle alignment, ADAS calibration, and automotive service procedures. Familiarity with auto estimating software and GM vehicle systems is a plus. Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting complex electrical issues. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices.
