Full Job Description Job Summary:
Layla's Paint and Body is looking for a skilled and reliable Paint & Body Shop Technician to join our team. This role involves repairing, refinishing, and restoring vehicles and equipment while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform body repairs including dent removal, sanding, and panel replacement Prepare vehicles for painting (masking, priming, sanding) Mix and apply paint to match vehicle color and equipment specifications Operate spray guns and other shop equipment safely and effectively Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and shop guidelines Communicate with team members and management regarding repair status
Qualifications:
Previous experience in auto body repair and painting preferred Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials Ability to use hand and power tools safely Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a shop environment (heat, noise, fumes)
