I need somebody that is good at diagnostics and drivabilityWe work on a lot of diesels here at Gaults auto shop I will pay more for more experience I'm looking for someone that has their own tools can diagnose cars has a license and can speak English we have competitive pay. We also work on alot of gas We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle makes and models, Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, electrical systems, transmissions, and other vehicle components. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrains Interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems. Service vehicles by replacing worn or damaged parts, performing oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and communicate effectively with team members and customers about repair progress. Experience Proven dealership experience or similar automotive service technician background is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including transmissions, electrical systems, powertrains, and diesel engines. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and interpreting schematics for complex repairs. Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures and alignment equipment is a plus. Excellent customer service skills combined with auto estimating proficiency to ensure clear communication of repairs needed.
