Job Description

In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various automotive systems using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and diesel engines to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools to execute repairs efficiently. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations with precision. Repair or replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components and perform calibration procedures to ensure proper functionality. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems effectively. Perform wheel alignments and suspension work to optimize vehicle handling and safety. Assist with auto estimating processes by accurately assessing repair needs and parts requirements for efficient workflow. Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each vehicle serviced. Ensure compliance with safety standards during all repair activities while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions confidently, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background with a focus on automotive repair. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrains, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using modern scan tools and diagnostic software. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment equipment, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems including sensors, wiring harnesses, relays, and modules. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required. Service-oriented mindset with excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients. Auto estimating skills for accurate assessment of repair costs and parts ordering. Familiarity with automotive service standards for both gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
